Richard Carrier talks about our supposed fine-tuned universe. Specifically, Lee Smolin's hypothesis.

I personally don't buy it because if violates Occam's Razor but who knows.

Fine-Tuned Universe Fallacy

The religious often invoke the 'Fine-tuned universe' hypothesis to prove the existence of their god: that the constants of nature are so ideal for the emergence of life that the constants must have been 'finely-tuned' by 'God'.

This contains two main logical errors:
1: The hypothesis mistakes a necessary condition for a contingent condition.
2: The hypothesis mistakes what is generally improbable from what is more probable
